Love is far too often romanticized in movies to the point that it resembles nothing like a real world relationship (other than maybe the first 10 minutes of a new flame).
Love is rarely that easy. It’s about acceptance. It’s about possibility. It’s about the ride.
“Ok.”
[NOTE: This is the ending, so it contains a major spoiler]

The Ten if ($studioName != '') { ?> echo str_replace(' ',' ',strtoupper($studioName)); ?> } ?>
I had such high hopes for this comedy, especially after listening to the always funny Paul Rudd explain the movie’s interesting premise at last year’s Sundance. And with such a great cast, how could you go wrong.
The Ten truly was an odd and eccentric movie. But also, unfortunately, very unfunny. It was actually quite bad, to be honest. The “CAT Scan” piece and the final bit had one or two funny jokes, but the rest was simply not funny, I don’t care where your sense of humor lies.

3:10 To Yuma if ($studioName != '') { ?> echo str_replace(' ',' ',strtoupper($studioName)); ?> } ?>
3:10 To Yuma was a well directed, well acted, well shot western. And yet, there’s nothing really spectacular that stands out here. The story is a bit silly near the end, especially Russell Crowe’s character’s motivation. But Ben Foster continues to amaze with his acting.

I Love Previews, But… if ($studioName != '') { ?> echo str_replace(' ',' ',strtoupper($studioName)); ?> } ?>
I have always loved previews, but on the 3:10 to Yuma DVD I believe that I had to gnaw on at least 8 previews before getting to the meat. That’s a bit much…

Sunshine was so very close to being one of the best and most realistic sci fi movies with its incredible special effects, smart plot line, and fantastic performances. But, unfortunately, it got seriously derailed for the final third of the movie. Still, the first 2/3 is definitely good enough to make this movie worth seeing. Also, this movie has some of the best unknown actors (Cillian Murphy, Rose Byrne, Michelle Yeoh, Hiroyuki Sanada, Cliff Curtis, Benedict Wong, and even Chris Evans) that have yet to make names for themselves, but hopefully will. Only true cinephiles would be able to name another movie for each of these actors.
Oh so close.
Also, note to self: the sun is super hot.
The Captain on the sun shield. “What can you see?!” [SPOILER]

What a funny quote that’s a twist on the standard sci fi genre.

Hot Rod if ($studioName != '') { ?> echo str_replace(' ',' ',strtoupper($studioName)); ?> } ?>
The hilarious Hot Rod easily meets my lower setting on what I find funny. And any movie that copies a scene straight out of Footloose, really how can you be a hater?
This opening scene pretty much sets you up for what to expect for the rest of the movie.

The Footloose-copied scene choreographed by Kevin Bacon, and then followed by the Great Fall.

Andy Samberg talking about being “2 Legit”. “Stay sweet.”
